Justine was so helpful,and informative from the moment she arrived. She provided us the tools needed to help our 2 yr shelter dog with multiple issues-separation anxiety, fearfulness, growling, and posturing to defend himself. Bark Busters has changed our lives and given our two girls the best chance at life! We lost our family dogs at the ages of 12.5 and 15.5 within a year. We never thought about owning dogs again after losing both so closely together. One day our brother brought home a lab mix puppy from a bad situation and was going to be put down. We found out she had a sister and brought her home too. Soon we found that due to poor breeding and lack of training we had some out of control puppies. We went to a local store for training, it helped but we still had some behavioral issues to sort out. We went to our vet and were told to contact BarkBusters. We got in touch with BarkBusters and Justine and set up our first session. Since Justine has been in the picture we have noticed such a positive change in our girls and they have picked up the training very quickly. Justine is very knowledgeable and patient with their training. She’s given us the tools and resources to foster a good relationship and instill good habits in our girls. We have a ways to go, but I would highly recommend BarkBusters. Definitely worth the investment.

Justine is amazing. She helped step in when the vet told us our dog was too aggressive to train and should be put down. She spent plenty of time explaining how she could help and how to implement the training with our dogs. She is so patient, calm and kind. Our “problem child” rescue dog is 100% deaf and slowly losing his eye sight - with the right corrections and commands taught by Justine— he is doing so well and truly showing how sweet of a boy he is.

This program has been so amazing. I was desperate to find a way to train my dogs that would address their major resource guarding and separation anxiety issues long term. It’s been a month since I started, but the difference in how I am able to communicate with my dogs is incredible.

I have never been so confident or excited about a training program before. It is all broken down into steps and the home demonstrations were spot on. Thank you, Justine! Our mini bernedoodle, Willis, is super active, barks a lot, demands our attention constantly and doesn't settle. It was so helpful to reframe our approach to training and practice drills around charging the door, jumping up and leash walking. Incredible training session! My dog is an Australian Shepard rescue with a couple behavioral issues I'm trying to nip in the bud. BEST TRAINING SESSION EVER.
I have had my two shih tzu-y rescue dogs for 10 years. I knew their barking, nipping, and bad behavior was because I am super lax with them and I don't want my poor fur babies ever to feel bad, so I let them be large and in charge. But their demanding barks were getting out of control.
Justine came over and taught me how my behavior was doing my doggies a disservice. In just one session, she taught me the appropriate commands to use for refocusing my dogs' attention and the barking ceased. I practiced Justine's technique, without supervision, while feeding them dinner and I was SHOCKED at how instantly they responded to the commands (and I didn't even perform them perfectly). I worked with other trainers, in the past, when my dogs were much younger but neither they nor I were interested in keeping up with what felt like boring and arduous training. Justine gave me simple techniques that my dogs responded to easily. I am confident we will all be able to keep up these skills and with consistent practice, I will have the most beautifully behaved pups. This is the best financial investment I have ever made for my dogs and for my sanity. So worth the price of admission!
