We recently hired Bark Busters to help us with our Miniature American Shepherd, Cooper, who is very reactive and has started to be aggressive toward people. We didn't know quite what to expect when Omar showed up, but I can say he more than exceeded what we hoped to accomplish on that first visit. Before he even met Cooper, he spent time with our family, listening to our concerns and then helping us understand why Cooper was behaving as he was. This insight has been a game-changer in how we interact with Cooper. And already we're seeing results. We still have a long way to go, but Omar has given us the hope that Cooper can become a calm, confident and happy dog who will bring much joy to our family. We really cannot recommend Bark Busters highly enough - especially Omar and Ryanne!

When we adopted a second dog and were trying to integrate and train him, we quickly realized there were more issues than we could fix ourselves. I took a local weekly pet store obedience class but couldn't finish it due to our big guy's leash reactivity. I searched online and found Bark Busters, and when I talked to Ryanne she gave me hope that we could get to a better place! During our first session with Omar our whole family learned SO much, about BOTH our dogs and how to help them. I knew my money was going to be well-spent, and an investment for their lives that no other training had done for us. Since then, we've been able to walk better, greet visitors calmly at the door, and reduce anxiety - and we're just getting started. We all learn something new during every single session. I'm so grateful we found Bark Busters!

We have had such a wonderful experience with Bark Busters Dakota County, and especially with Omar. He has been working with our German Shepherd puppy, Lucky, since he was just 10 weeks old and now at 6 months, the progress has been incredible.
Omar doesn't just train Lucky, he helps our entire family understand his needs so we can become the best dog parents we can be. His guidance has been calm, thoughtful, and incredibly effective, and it’s given us so much confidence as we raise a high energy, intelligent puppy.

I’m so happy to be working with Omar on training my new rescue pup! After 40+ years of cats, I knew I needed guidance just as much as the puppy! Omar is super patient with both of us and we are both learning a lot! I didn’t know how to train a puppy at all. And now she sits, down, leash walks, and enters a crate in a vehicle for transport. Still working on potty training and dropping unwanted items. But having someone come to your home and work on exactly what is needed 1:1 is priceless. And he answers my endless questions. I’m thrilled with where we are so far and it’s only been about 6 weeks. You won’t be disappointed with using this firm!

We reached out to Bark Busters after a few terrifying incidents between our two dogs, who are sisters, resulting in serious fights and even blood drawn. We were devastated and genuinely feared we might have to rehome our 2-year-old larger dog due to her attacking our 5-year-old Frenchie.
Then came Ryanne, and everything changed. From the very first visit, she showed us techniques that had immediate results.
