Welcome! We are Mike and Judy Shamp, your Bark Busters Dog Trainers and Dog Behavioral Therapists in Greater Collin County. Our love and passion for dogs led us to join Bark Busters in 2006. We look forward to helping families solve even the most difficult behaviors.
As lifetime dog owners we cannot imagine life without a well-trained canine companion. Mike began training dogs in the early 1980’s when he fostered and eventually adopted an aggressive 9 month old Golden Retriever. His experience with Chelsea honed Mike’s skills and prepared him to help other foster dogs get ready for their forever homes.
Judy has rescued lost and injured animals and dogs since she was a young girl. She is now President of Gold Coast Greyhound Adoptions, Judy has cared for and facilitated the placement of over 3,500 Greyhounds into loving and caring homes in more than 12 states and Canada.
