Meet Mariah, Your Local Professional Dog Trainer

Dog trainer in Southern New Hampshire with her German Shepherd and Rough Collie

Dog Training & Puppy Training in Greater Manchester, Nashua & Concord, NH!

Welcome. I am Mariah, your Bark Busters dog trainer and behavioral therapist in Southern New Hampshire. My journey began with my childhood dog, a Rough Collie named Tucker, whom I personally trained in agility and tricks by the age of 10. This passion for animals led me to my first job as a kennel technician at a local emergency veterinary clinic. Over time, I advanced to become a veterinary technician, dedicating a total of eight years to the field. During four of those years, I also earned my Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a focus on pre-veterinary medicine.

I currently have three dogs of my own - Simba, a 9-year-old German Shepherd, Kaiser a 4-year-old German Shepherd and the newest addition, Joey, a 4-month-old Rough Collie. My greatest joy comes from spending time with my animals and helping people with theirs.

Since joining the Bark Busters team as an in-home dog trainer and behavioral therapist, I have helped hundreds of families and their dogs overcome and manage behavioral issues so they can live happier lives with their dogs.

If you are dealing with behavioral issues, puppy management or just looking to improve your dogs basic obedience and manners - I am here to help! I believe in using only natural communication and relationship-based training techniques and offer a lifetime support guarantee of the training. Contact me today.

When it comes to Dog Training, Bark Busters is the REAL DEAL, and Mariah Vogeley is nothing short of incredible!!
Her expertise in dog training is evident from the moment you meet her, and she gives off that presence of a leader from the moment she walks through your door. We reached out to her after we brought home our rescue pitty, Beta. She was found as a stray just 2 short weeks before we rescued her. It was obvious that her previous life was not a happy one, and it was very clear to us/the rescue that she had been severely abused and mistreated, she was not trained or properly cared for.
She quickly developed a tendency to get overly excited, mouth, (hard) and jump up on us anytime we were getting home from work, or even just from being outside a short time. (she was not use to being happy to see her owners, which broke my heart, but we just couldn't have her biting like that 😞) She was also quite the handful during walks, and had a tendency pull, hard, and bark at literally anything and everything. (Barking excessively inside at all hours of the night)
Not to mention we have seen some regression in our other dogs training since bringing Beta home, but that's fairly normal, and tends to happen when adding another dog to your pack.
Mariah's leadership and dominance are palpable, and she effectively taught us how to establish dominance and leadership using our body language and a unique Growl-like command that dogs WILL 100% respond to, because its what they understand!! 🙏❤️
Truly amazing. She went above and beyond when Beta needed additional guidance, showing us heightened commands that have worked like magic. We've had 2 training sessions, and since fully embracing that leadership role after our second visit, Beta has been a perfect angel. She is actually very eager to please, and simply needed someone to understand how to lead her. I struggled a little at first, but Mariah's teaching is simple and highly effective, and after our second visit I am seeing REAL RESULTS!! I can't thank her enough for teaching me how to establish myself as a leader for my pups, and truly transforming my relationship with Beta. If you need a dog trainer, I cannot recommend Mariah, or BarkBusters enough!!
We had such a great experience with Mariah and Bark Busters! Mariah was incredibly kind and patient as she worked with us to train our puppy. After just a few lessons we noticed a huge difference! Thank you Mariah!
I found out about Bark Busters when I was having some struggles with my 3 year old lab, Ruby. She’s a very energetic dog, who loves people. However, she would constantly jump up on people, was pulling at the leash anytime we would try to walk her and anytime our front door opened, she would barrel through to try to greet whoever was there. When we found out we were expecting a baby, we knew we needed to put a stop those behaviors for safety reasons.
We connected with Mariah, and she helped us SO much with Ruby. Right off the bat, Mariah spoke with us about our concerns, and got a good feel of Ruby’s personality before she began the training. When it came to the actual training, Mariah was so thorough. She helped us understand why Ruby was exhibiting those behaviors, then told us what she was doing through the training, why, and helped teach us what to do to help Ruby. Mariah used such a positive, gentle and trusting approach, and Ruby took to her training so quickly. We are so thankful that we had such a great experience, and that we were able to fix these negative behaviors before the baby arrived. I couldn’t recommend her enough!
I’m very happy and impressed at how much Mariah has helped me with my dog, Malcolm. Also she’s helped me learn how to communicate with him so he knows what I expect from him. She’s training both of us.
Yesterday we had our first session with Kayla and couldn't be happier. She really took the time to get to know our dogs (and us), to understand our challenges and goals, and to put together a comprehensive, customized plan to help us reach them. In just a few hours we saw a huge shift in our dogs' behavior thanks to her and Bark Busters' innovative training methods. I would highly recommend Kayla!
Kayla is awesome! I recently adopted an Iggy (Piper) who is 3-1/2 months young. She’s extremely energetic, not potty trained and bites everything and everyone due to teething but couldn’t be any cuter. I met with Kayla for several hours. She provided great information, suggestions, is patient and extremely diligent in checking in with me to see how things are going. I’m a work in progress (hard giving tough love by not running to get her every time she whines, but I’m getting better:). Additionally, Piper is getting better with going potty outdoors and when she tries biting, by redirecting her, she refocuses and stops biting.). I highly recommend Kayla for your training needs.
Bark Busters has completely changed the way I view dog training. I’ve had the chance to observe their methods in action, and the results truly speak for themselves. What sets them apart is their focus on behavior-based training rather than relying solely on treats, clickers, or obedience drills. You start seeing improvements in your dog’s behavior almost immediately.

The techniques are straightforward and easy for owners to learn and apply, which makes the entire process feel empowering—not overwhelming. It’s amazing to watch dogs become more confident and focused as they find purpose through this kind of mental engagement. They’re not just learning commands—they’re learning how to think and respond. I’d recommend Bark Busters to anyone looking for lasting, meaningful change with their dog!
Kayla is just wonderful. We have 3 dogs, one being a very special challenge. We are so impressed with his progress! Kayla has given us the tools to manage our pack and we look forward to her continued support. Highly recommend!
Kayla is a remarkable trainer! We have had our labradoodle in various training programs mostly for help with his walking skills and some dominance issues that he has. The skills she has taught us are by far the most effective. She works in real time at our house where our dog is most comfortable (and likely to act like his normal self compared to a facility we would bring him to). She will answer any and all questions! She is patient with not only our dog but with us as well. When we have reached out for follow up she is always receptive and flexible and makes herself available to come visit us again. Our dog respects her when she is with him but is also comfortable with her and shows love to herI can’t speak highly enough about her and would gladly refer her to anyone!
4 years ago we signed our dog Jack, a Rottweiler/Hound mix for at home training provided by BarkBusters. Our trainer or should I say Jacks trainer Kayla provided us weeks of training homework which we used to train Jack! 4 years later Kayla is still in contact with us for updates and answers to questions on Jacks behavior trends! Kayla is a dedicated, patient, courteous and knowledgeable trainer!! Anyone looking for a trainer then look no further than Kayla. She has been and will always be part of our family and Jacks.
Kayla from Bark Busters came to our home to help us train our new puppy Bentley. She was great, we worked on some skills at our home, then went to the park to see how he would interact with other dogs. She gave us simple commands to use with Bentley and they worked. Recently I called Kayla to come back out and help us with getting Bentley back on track. Again Kayla’s knowledge and skills were spot on. Bentley responded immediately to the commands. I would highly recommend Kayla at Bark Busters.
Kayla has been an amazing trainer for our energetic 2.5 year old dog! She gave us a detailed schedule of various exercises to strengthen our bond and establish ourselves as better leaders. We’ve seen a major improvement in his attentiveness, impulse control, and obedience. I would highly recommend her services for any dog!
We have tried a lot of things with our dog, including other training programs and medication, but training with Kayla is the first time I have felt like we have her separation anxiety under control. Kayla patiently taught us how to properly communicate with our dogs and techniques to make our fearful and reactive little lady feel safe, calm, and quiet. I learned so much from Kayla and cannot recommend her enough. She is a very clear and effective teacher and such an excellent communicator (human and canine!).
Kayla is a great trainer, is easy to work with. Follows up. Highly recommend with any dog of any age.
We recently welcomed a new fur baby into our home, and I was incredibly anxious about how our 10-year-old dog would react. When he began showing signs of distress and aggression, I felt overwhelmed and genuinely questioned whether I had made the right decision. I was nearly in tears, feeling lost and unsure of what to do.

Enter Kayla—an absolute godsend.

From the moment she walked through our door, she immediately got to work. Her calm demeanor, deep knowledge, and intuitive approach put us at ease right away. Within minutes, she was working hands-on with both dogs, helping to shift the energy and dynamics in such a positive direction. She spent over 2.5 hours with us, offering not only immediate guidance but also practical tools, tips, and even healthy treat recommendations.

Amazingly, within 24 hours of her visit, our home already feels more peaceful. Our older pup is noticeably calmer and more accepting of the new addition, and I feel empowered and hopeful moving forward.

Knowing that Kayla is available for follow-up questions and support until her next visit brings me so much comfort. She’s truly remarkable at what she does, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her help during such an emotional time.

I highly recommend her to work with you and your fur babies - don't wait as long as I did !!
Yesterday we had our first training session with Mariah from Bark Busters. She was very thorough and thoughtful listening to our needs and concerns in changing our dogs bad habits, or should we say “our” bad habits . Mariah gave us some great training exercises to practice and we are looking forward to improving our relationship with Denny. Can’t wait for the next time Mariah comes and expands our knowledge of how we should behave with our family pet. Thanks Mariah!
Mariah was the best thing that happened to our family dog. He had huge separation anxiety ( dug his way through our front door). She helped us so much to build his confidence and teach us how to handle everything from “ jumping” “ barking” and everything I between. Now 8 months after we started our training we have this very sweet dog, that family and friends can’t believe is the same dog. It takes time, and we practiced every day. But Mariah gave us the guidance and tools we needed for Blue to be so successful. i would encourage everyone that has behavior issues with their pup to reach out to Bark Busters.
We can not thank Mariah enough for teaching us how to train our dog!
We had the pleasure of Mariah come to our house for our first session with our 11 week old pittie, Winnie, she was wonderful to work with, my wife and I are now experiencingyour first puppy in many years, and felt we were going the right direction. But Mariah explained where we were misguided, and she was very knowledgeable and helped us to set goals and the avenue to get there. We are now more confident in how we are going to get our Winnie, to be the best version of what we believe she can be.
Looking forward to what other information and help Mariah can help us with in the future
Mariah works so well with Cody. He responds to her immediately. We’re working on walking without pulling and he’s doing great.
We started working with Mariah after a few scary incidences of sibling aggression between our 2 female rescue dogs at home. After working with Mariah for a few hours, it was very clear how knowledgeable she about her craft. She is patient and personable. Mariah answered all of our questions and provided us with the necessary tools to begin our in-home dog training program. She’s very responsive when communicating between visits. We have already seen some positive changes in our dogs after the very first visit and look forward to continue working with Mariah! Highly recommend Mariah and her team!
BarkBusters is amazing! Kayla is so great to work with- she helped with my pup’s reactivity among other issues and she greatly improved my confidence when walking and working with my dog. She has decreased my anxiety and therefore my dogs as well. Can’t say enough great things! Knowing she will always be there to help whenever new things come up in my dog’s life is a bonus too. Wonderful trainer at a fantastic company
I would like to tell you how awesome Mariah at Bark Busters Home Dog Training in Southern New Hampshire! We had a nice visit and she went over everything in detail, very patient with all of us. I have known her in the past as she was on my GHSET. I am so proud she has found her passion. Wishing her the best and I know she will do well. Highly recommend her!
We can not say enough good things about our experience with Bark Busters. Mariah has been the most wonderful trainer. She is kind and considerate, patient and so very responsive. We would recommend her to all dog owners as she has been such an important part of our puppy’s life. And such a good trainer of us!!!
Mariah is wonderful with our dogs. She makes things easy to understand, listens to all our struggles and is always quick to fit us in when we need her!
Our trainer Mariah has been a huge help with our rescue dog! She responds in a timely manner for any questions we send her way, she has helped us better understand our dog’s behavior and body language. Before hiring Mariah we were considering rehoming him as he was presenting dangerous behavior problems that the shelter was not aware of or did not inform us of. With Mariah’s help he has made incredible improvements in his behavior and obedience! We highly recommend Mariah for any dog owner and especially for anyone with a working breed!
We can't recommend Kayla at Barkbusters enough! She is an excellent teacher evidenced by her training us on how to train our dog. In only a few months (even after our first session) we have already curbed several negative behaviors and learned a lot. We are eager to continue working with Kayla and Barkbusters until all negative behaviors are extinguished!
Bark busters and Kayla are the only reason we have our dog today. We rescued our dog Leo in April of 2023 and he is fear aggressive due to his trauma. We called Kayla and she came out within days of our call. After just one visit of Kayla coming Leo was a different dog! She was able to teach us everything we needed to do in order to get a loving and happy dog! We went from a dog who couldn’t even go over our families house or be around dogs to now can sleep over with his best bud Steve without us!! My husband and I owe everything to Kayla and bark busters! We are forever grateful!
