Steve came to our training session well prepared with a clear plan to establish boundaries with Murphy and teach us the proper techniques to correct his chewing / jumping / biting. We did a follow-up training session to focus specifically on jumping while walking on leash and Steve reinforced the techniques and Murphy is already showing real improvement. We met with Steve C. only a few days ago and through his explanations of how to communicate with our dog and what we should be doing to communicate, we all feel so much calmer and happier! We have started our new routine and exercises from Steve's plan and I think we are finally on the right path! Gracie, our dog, is following the adjustments and changes so with time, I think we have a solution to ease our anxious doggy and enjoy being together.

What we appreciate most is that this training is done entirely out of love and focuses on canine communication rather than a punishment/reward system. It has helped us better understand Miki’s needs and how to guide him in a way that makes him feel secure and balanced.
This training is truly beneficial for anyone willing to put in the work. Consistency with the exercises is key, but it is absolutely worth it. We feel like we have a new dog, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend Steven!
I was skeptical of trying yet a third dog trainer to stop my 3 1/2 year old Maltipoo from barking. I was highly referred from a friend, and I gave it a chance.
Steve came to my apartment and met Lily, who proceeded to bark. Steve stood up, did his stance and gutteral noise, and Lily stopped her barking cold. It is not an exaggeration to say she became a different dog from that moment. In one session, Steve taught me how to reclaim my leadership in our relationship, and how to use her instinct to please towards redirecting her bad habits.
At the end of the session, we sat in an outdoor cafe at a busy intersection where many other dogs pass by. Lily would normally be barking incessantly. The New Lily sat quietly at my feet, not in fear, but reconciled to the fact that it is no longer her job to scare away other dogs. I am so grateful.

In a few short weeks of consistent and dillegent training, using Bark Buster techniques, our dog is calmer both inside apartment and on the street. This, in turn, makes our outings more enjoyable. In conclusion, we would highly recommend Bark Busters, especially knowing we can call on them in the future as part of the initial investment.
