Rachel and Betty Lou are the best. Bullet just received the AKC Virtual Home Manners (VHM) Adult Dog Title. To receive the Title, Bullet had to demonstrate 10 exercises graded by an AKC virtual evaluator. The basic training Bullet received as a puppy from Rachel and Betty Lou helped Bullet earn the VHM.They teach you how to speak the dog’s language. After each session, they left a homework assignment with a video to demonstrate the skills to work on for the next training session. I am happy that I contacted Rachel and Betty Lou to help with training Bullet.

Heather is a dog whisperer if I’ve ever seen one! Prior to Bark Busters, Our 5 year old female lab-pit mix was over protective , reactive and ran the house! Now… the opposite. We just finished our second session and it’s like NIGHT AND DAY. We have been seeing Heather for over a month now and the progress is unbelievable and something I never thought we would see in years. She has provided us with ALL the necessary tools for both our beloved dog and us to thrive with 3 cats in the home. Lastly… DO THE EXERCISES SHE PROVIDES on a consistent basis, they WORK!! We look forward to continuing our relationship with Heather and will be recommending Bark Busters moving forward, hands down.

Heather with Bark Busters Columbia North has been an absolutely incredible dog trainer for our two 4-year-old Boxers (littermates) who struggled with leash reactivity and aggression toward other dogs. We had tried other training programs with little progress, but Heather’s calm, confident approach and the Bark Busters methodology made a difference from the very first session.

Walks are now calmer, our dogs are more relaxed and responsive, and we finally feel confident handling two strong, reactive Boxers on leash.
Heather is patient, knowledgeable, and truly invested in helping both dogs and owners succeed. If you’re looking for expert dog training in Columbia, especially for leash reactivity, aggression, or multiple-dog behavior issues, I highly recommend Heather and Bark Busters. The transformation has been life-changing for our family and our dogs.

Love Heather at Bark Busters! I've had training for previous dogs by someone else and they were good, but I LOVE Heather's techniques. Actually quite surprising and effective!
