We had a beagle puppy who is very very very stubborn and thought there was zero way to ever go on a smooth walk and be able to leave the house with him out of the crate and not have everything chewed up. We began working with James at Bark Busters and saw immediate changes from our stubborn dog walking by our side on every walk and him being able to chill by himself out of the crate for hours when we leave the house. James has really been the best with designing a plan and making sure we are executing it. 1000% recommend working with James and Bark Busters!

If you're on the fence about committing to a dog trainer or unsure which one to choose, I highly recommend Bark Busters. We've been working with Johnny for a few months now, and I've seen significant improvements in my dog's behavior. We adopted our puppy from the shelter at six months old, and some of his behaviors had us a bit concerned--it seemed like he may have spent much of his early life as a stray. We were struggling with issues we didn't want to carry into adulthood, and Johnny has been incredible in helping us address them. Johnny truly has a way with dogs and an impressive understanding of their behavior. He's excellent at communicating and helping us better understand our dog, while also being a great people person--friendly, approachable, and super personable. He always emphasizes that we can reach out anytime with questions, which has meant so much to us and help put our mind at ease. Hiring Johnny was worth every penny and has helped set our family up for a happier life. I honestly believe Johnny is one of Goose's favorite people!

After adopting our dog from a rescue, we immediately noticed she was reactive to dogs and people. YouTube videos and researching online didn’t help, and we were at such a loss. We started working with Johnny Jumper and as soon as the first session, my husband and I noticed a significant improvement. He is incredibly patient, teaches clearly, and customizes our lessons to the specific areas where we need support. Thank you Johnny!

Sharon was so helpful and supportive in our first session and really educated us on how dogs communicate and we realized how much it makes sense and how we had work to do with our German shepherd Abby. Sharon spent 4 hours with us practicing the training and answering our questions about how to handle situations. It is very evident that Sharon loves what she does and makes you and your dog feel comfortable while you are uncomfortable because you thought you knew how to communicate with your dog. The day after training, Abby was a completely different dog on her walk. Learning you need to be the leader and she can’t walk ahead, you control stops and how to help your reactive dog when other dogs are around. I am so pleased with Abby’s progress in a day and we will continue to do our training drills each day and watch her grow. I am so glad I reached out to Sharon.

PermalinkWe started training with him because we wanted a calmer, more confident dog and honestly the difference has been amazing. Jared is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and SO good at explaining things in a way that makes sense.
What I loved the most is that he didn’t just “train the dog,” he taught US how to work with him in real life situations. Every session felt personalized to our dog’s personality and needs, and Jared always showed up with such a positive attitude and so much care.
We’ve seen huge progress already, better leash manners, calmer behavior around other dogs and people. Overall just a happier pup who knows what’s expected of him.
If you’re looking for a trainer who is professional, results-oriented, and genuinely passionate about dogs, Jared is the one. Totally worth it.
