Are you having trouble getting your dog to understand the rules of the house?
Struggling with bad dog behavior?
Looking to start your puppy out on the right foot (or paw!)?
I am here to help!
For nearly 20 years, I have been traveling to client's homes to help resolve behavior issues with their dogs. I would be delighted to be your dog trainer and partner.
Training in your own home has many advantages. Besides the convenience for you as the owner, your home is your dog's natural environment. By training at home, your dog acts his normal self, which allows me to observe and then formulate a dog training plan to help you and your beloved pup.
In addition, dogs learn best in familiar and safe environment, free from outside distractions. So, this is naturally where our training should start, to help achieve the best results for your family.
Please think of the training as 50% dog training and 50% owner training. You will be actively engaged in every aspect of the training so you know how to reinforce the training in your day-to-day routine.
After each lesson, I want you to feel confident that you know how to continue making progress. I am always available between appointments to answer any questions you have about your dog's behavior and our dog training plan.
I help clients in two main areas:
Be assured, Bark Busters of South Jersey uses no harmful methods and no shock collars! And, on the opposite extreme, we won't have to bribe your dog with constant treats to get them to listen.
Our training methods are based on natural dog communication including using voice tones and body language to help you learn to communicate with your dog. The goal is a happy and well-mannered dog and a relationship with you and your canine companion based on love, trust, and respect.
You might be surprised to know that about half of my client's dogs weigh less than 20 pounds. Little dogs can have great big personalities and they like to get their own way. Whether your dog fits in your palm or needs a twin mattress to lay upon, I am happy to help. If your dog isn't a puppy any longer, don't fear. Old dogs CAN learn new tricks.
Dog training isn't just for aggressive dogs. In fact, 4 out of 5 client's pups show no aggression at all. Most of my clients start a conversation by saying, "He is a really great dog and we love him, but he is driving me crazy." There is no reason to allow unwanted habits to linger when solutions are available.
I can help you understand your dog better, improve your dog's behavior and enjoy your dog more, whether you need basic puppy education or to address complex behavior issues, including:
On a personal note, I am married with 4 children who love to ask about each and every dog that I see on a daily basis. I know I can help your dog and look forward to speaking with you soon.

Paul is an excellent trainer. He knows exactly what to do for every circumstance. Every question my husband and I asked him regarding our issues, Paul had the solution. We have been training our puppy, Jimmy for three months now and he has made tremendous progress. Of course, we've made some progress too. We would definitely recommend Paul Pag...
