We started fostering a small dog Django, who is 4-years-old and came from an undisciplined home. He was out of control, constantly barking at any noise, gnawing on hands, non-stop antics, invading personal space. I couldn’t get any work done. I was a day away from sending him back, but we wanted to try training first. Ryan and Bark Busters were amazing. We had his worst negative behaviors adjusted within an hour. I’ve never seen anything like it. All of his best behaviors started showing through and we have now adopted him.
Ryan recently came to visit for a refresher session and the dogs were amazing they immediately recalled their Training. Since the refresher the dogs have been doing really well they still have moments where they forget and we have to use the skills to remind them but they are choosing to take the correct actions. Ryan is an amazing Trainer he is patient, understanding and compassionate he understands that we as humans can make mistakes and so can the dogs we just need to be consistent. I would 10/10 recommend this Training we tried everything collars, whistles etc and nothing worked until we met Ryan!
I have been working with Ryan at Bark Busters Colorado Springs, since February 2026… and I can’t tell you how much peace it’s brought me, and more importantly: my dog. As a single woman, and owner of a crafty hunting canine, I have employed at least four different dog training professionals. Ryan and the Bark Busters philosophy was the first where we had immediate behavior change, clear boundaries, and sound logic to make me feel confident in the ‘why.’ I have met with Ryan three times in the last month alone, and he’s always met my dog and I with empathy, kindness and enthusiasm. His gentle demeanor is appropriately countered with holding both of us (mostly me) accountable to the step-wise fashion of the program. I continue to see improvements in my dog’s confidence, a greater focus on me, steadiness in the home, and immediacy in responding to basic obedience- especially recall. I cannot recommend Ryan and the program enough! Seriously. If you’re considering their services – just do it. You, and your dog, will be so grateful you did <3

We had a follow up with Ryan since our guard dog has been picking up a new behavior (barking and charging the fence when people walk by) and pulling on the leash. Ryan came out to us within the week and was able to help us get the behaviors back under control. We thought we were doing everything right and it turns out myself and husband were missing a crucial step in his training. Cowboy was more placating us instead of listening/respecting. With the help of Ryan, we are all back on track and doing great!

We reached out to Ryan and BarkBusters to help with our 3 dogs (9, 8.5, & 4 years old). While our dogs are super sweet, they were a mess; reactive, pullers, no boundaries, dog aggressive. We noticed a huge change after just one session! Today we were able to take the to a park with other dogs. They are more polite, so easy to walk, and sweeter than ever. This training was a game changer, we couldn't recommend Ryan more strongly.
After researching training options for my new puppy I’m happy that I chose Bark Busters and Ryan. He came to my home and taught me how to communicate with my dog in a way that he understands, I saw results immediately and was amazed at how quickly Keko responded when I changed my approach with him. Ryan has helped me learn how to adjust my behavior in a way that my puppy understands and responds to. Our second session was a good reminder and reinforcement of the tools and lessons that Ryan teaches. Keko has gone from running from me to coming to me on command, he behaves better on our walks and with other family members, It’s encouraging to know that I can continue to work with Ryan as needed. It’s been a pleasure working with him and the amount of knowledge he shares is very useful and insightful. Highly recommend!!

Ryan gave us results with both of our dogs the very first day!! We were struggling with new people entering our home and not getting barked at or bombarded with jumping and aggression!He gave us skills that worked right out the gate! We also have been able to take them on walks without fear of barking at other dogs or the constant pulling!! The skills we have learned are invaluable and has made all of us much happier humans and pups!!
