Hannah has been an amazing with our rescued golden doodle. He had severe reactivity with other dogs and she gave us the tools to improve his behavior significantly. After a few trips to the dog park walking around the outside just observing and desensitizing him he was able to sniff a few dogs through the fence without getting aggressive. We’ve done different types of trainings over the years with our different dogs, but the Bark Busters methods make so much more sense. It’s a very calm and quiet way to train rather than yelling commands. I have learned to understand my dog’s body language, anticipate his behavior, and be proactive instead of reactive. We are being taught to train our dog for behaviors we want him to have in our household, not what someone else thinks he should do. Our trainer, Hanna, has been so resourceful and supportive. In the past I’ve never felt confident in my abilities to train a dog - I often feel reprimanded for not doing things the right way in classes. But Hanna is gentle and kind, and has given me the confidence that I can do this and be successful.

We started working with Hanna in January for one of our pups (7.5 yrs) who in the month prior started to get aggressive towards our older pup (13 yrs). Luckily it wasn’t to a point where they had to be constantly separated and a couple of days after the first training it was night and day difference in their temperaments! We are seeing a lot of improvements in most of the areas we are focusing on. Some habits are hard to break (like going straight for the couch first thing in the am) but it’s a work in progress. Connor is a miracle worker. Our dog Milo would charge aggressively after every dog he saw and would bark at even the most benign noises at home. After only two appointments, our dog has been completely transformed. Milo walks calmly with my wife and I no matter how many dogs are around. And he barks signficantly less at home. All without shock collars or other cruel techniques. Yes, Bark Busters is crazy expensive. No getting around that. Connor and Hanna are incredible! Both of them are obviously K-9 lovers, but they're also great at dealing with humans. They seamlessly worked together as a team to alleviate all of our concerns, and the level of trust Hanna developed with us and our dog on her first visit was not just remarkable, but lasting. Our Bark Busters experience with Connor has been wonderful and life changing for our family! Although we have only had a few sessions so far, over the last few months we have had so much more peace and cohesion in our family as a result that we weren’t sure we would have again anytime soon. Our family and sweet dog went through alot of changes in the past couple years with the addition of our son and living in four different houses all during the pandemic where she had less then optimal socializing opportunities. I'm so happy I chose Bark Busters! I needed desperate help training my puppy Guy, a mini Australian Shepherd. I couldn't have guests over, we had problems walking on the leash, uncontrollable barking, an inconsistent eating schedule and more. After just one visit, I had a completely different dog thanks to Connor! Within days, I was able to have guests over without a problem. Connor explained why Guy was behaving the way he was so we were able to better fix our situation. We were given daily exercises that made a huge impact. Bark Busters, specifically Connor, has been life changing for my dog and my family! When we reached out, we couldn't take our dog in public for fear of him aggressing towards other animals or people.
