I cannot say enough great things about Scott from Bark Busters. He came to help with my two dogs, Harlan and River, and the results were honestly mind-blowing. I could not believe the difference after just working with him.
PermalinkScott was calm, professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything in a way that made sense. He helped me understand how to communicate better with my dogs, and Harlan and River responded so quickly. It felt like a huge weight was lifted.
If you are struggling with training or just want a better relationship with your dogs, I highly recommend Scott. He truly knows what he is doing, and the results speak for themselves!

My dog Rover’s trainer, Johnny, is the absolute best! He’s so knowledgeable, patient and attentive when working with my dog. He is available to talk or text whenever I need and has been more than helpful with the specific training that I need for my Aussie. I would and have recommended him to everyone I know!

Johnny has been great at teaching me and my dog how to work together! Zilla is a rescue who does not really trust people, but after help with Bark Busters she is learning how to be more comfortable and trustworthy as well as listening to what I say to her!

My wife and I are a first time dog owners and we're very worried about training our dog from puppy when we got the puppy last year. Working with Jared was definitely a good decision we made. Jared is incredibly patient and truly understands dog behavior on a deep level. Each time after training the dog behaves noticebly better. Jared teached us a lot of ways to communicate with our dog that we would never figured out by ourselves.

Sharon at Bark Busters was amazing during our 1st 3-hour session. We learned so much about dog behavior and how to interact with them in ways that make instant sense to dogs. Had nearly immediate small successes which we were able to quickly build on. I've never done training like this before and really appreciate the psychological approach. The life of your dog support guarantee is also amazing!

I am Connie’s cousin and was invited to view the training process with Addison along with two other neighbors. What I observed was nothing less than amazing. The training techniques were gentle but extremely effective. Addison who is a big time barker and supper hyper calmed down within the first hour of training and her anxiety level was lessened immensely. Originally I thought the price for three hours training was costly but after seeing the technique and results I now feel worth every penny!!!! Scot is a gentle but firm trainer, patient with the pup and teaches the techniques to the people involved in a very dignified, illustrative manner. If you have a dog who you dearly love but stresses the dickens out of you because of behavioral problems, I highly recommend Scot for the task. Then the pets stress level is lowered and your enjoyment of your fur baby is so worth the money and effort.

PermalinkAfter one session, my older puppy, and I started a brand new relationship! Brandon‘s knowledge,, empathy, amazing kindness, and dedication were a parent and long lasting. He was professional and had scheduling flexibility that worked incredibly well for our family.

James is thoughtful, wise, careful and confident. He quickly and easily effectively diagnosed our issue with our dog and gave us great coaching on correcting unwanted behavior. His approach is rooted in a clear and nuanced understanding of dog psychology, and human psychology, and it shows. Highly recommended.

When my neighbor called to tell me that my dog was walking on the second floor roof of our condo complex, I knew that I needed help. I had rescued my beautiful black lab only a week earlier when she played Houdini, escaped through the screen door and was jumping from balcony to balcony on the second floor of my complex. I needed help. Thankfully James came to the rescue. I had never dealt with pet separation anxiety before and had no idea what to do. When James came for our first session, he spent plenty of time making Bailey and me feel calm and comfortable. James taught me how to work with Bailey in a very patient and positive manner. I learned how to create train her, something that was new to both of us, I was consistent working with Bailey and in keeping James up to date on our training. He provided me with daily feedback and suggestions between visits. All of our work paid off. Bailey was an attentive learner. Now I can leave for errands and know that she is safe and ok. I can watch her on the camera that James suggested (very reasonable and worth every penny). I took Bailey to doggie day care on the one day per week that I worked because it was too long for her otherwise. Now I have a happy dog who walks into her crate, tail wagging and settles down until I return. Thank you James for all your help and support. This was definitely the right decision for Bailey and me! 🐾

I had several issues with my Dogo Argentino, Duke, that had become extremely stressful and overwhelming. I spent months trying everything possible to correct his behavior problems on my own, but I was getting nowhere. Duke is a very high-energy breed and was unable to calm down in the house, especially at night, even after spending the day walking and running in the park. He also had a serious issue with pulling on the leash, regardless of the collars or harnesses I used.
PermalinkA few days before Robert arrived, Duke suddenly became extremely fearful of motorcycles and loud cars. It got to the point where he didn’t even want to go outside anymore. Any loud noise would send him into a panic, and he would desperately try to flee back home.
When Robert came in, I immediately saw huge progress during our very first session. Duke’s behavior inside the house changed almost instantly. Robert was able to get him comfortably across the street and back into the park, and the leash pulling disappeared. Robert is professional, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. His ability to connect with Duke and earn his trust and respect in such a short period of time was truly remarkable.
I learned so much from Robert and worked hard to implement everything he taught me day and night after he left. Even after a week had passed, Duke had a small setback with the noise issues outside. I contacted Robert right away, and without hesitation, he came back the very next day to help. It was clear that he genuinely cares about the animals he works with and takes great pride in what he does.
I couldn’t be happier with the service Robert provided, and I highly recommend him to anyone searching for an exceptional dog trainer. The results we achieved in such a short amount of time exceeded my expectations, and I am incredibly grateful for his help.
