We have only had one session with Mariah so far. Our Ruby has already improved in just one 2 1/2 hour session! I am completely thrilled with everything Mariah told me and showed me how to do. Ruby and I have already had one more session of training this afternoon and she did wonderfully well! I think as long as I keep doing my bit our problems might be on the way to being over! I cannot recommend Mariah highly enough. Excellent trainer and a lovely person too!
We’ve had one session so far and I could already see a difference with my dogs. Mariah is very thorough and supportive. The information given is easy to understand and straightforward. My dogs are responding to me better, and I feel like I’m finally getting control of them!
Kayla did a fantastic job with our training session. She was able to cover strategies for all of our concerns in the first session. She explained the techniques in simple terms and provided activities to practice to reinforce behaviors. We were very impressed with the training method used by the company.
We were so discouraged and so done with our rescue, Walter. He had been with us 3 1/2 months and he still hated my husband and all men. It was non stop drama at home where he’d bark for hours, lunge and nip. We felt trapped and cheated out of what should have been a humane gesture and a new family member. Mariah with Bark Busters was a desperate attempt at peace in the house. OMG. One visit. One. And we are cohabiting so peacefully already. We will do the homework and have a follow up however we didn’t see it as possible for our home to feel like home again after the first visit however here we are, Happy.
Mariah is so knowledgeable about dogs. She is so passionate about helping clients and their fur babies. She is sweet kind and patient as well. I highly recommend!
This is dog training like no other! They come right to your house and keep the whole family involved. We learned so much in just 2 hours. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for everything Mariah!!
We rescued a dog from an overcrowded shelter that was picked up as a stray and transported here. I knew he would be a lot of work but had no idea to what degree. A few days after he arrived he started to bite his leash and show aggression during walks. He would bite his leash, jump up to try to bite me. It got to the point where I dreaded taking him outside (inside he was great). I thought about rehoming the dog. Enter Mariah. She was awesome! She showed me that I have to demonstrate leadership at all times. Inside the house, with meals, with exiting the door, etc. He was such a handful on walks and she managed to make all of it better! We worked on leash walking, getting the dog to focus (attentiveness training) and drop it, among other things. His behavior is so much better! Mariah was a lifesaver. She really does speak dog and really listened to my concerns. He is no longer biting or leash biting. We are still working on the pulling (he is a decent walker until he sees a squirrel or another dog), but I can say after just two sessions he is soooo much better. This is the beginning of our training and I already see real results. She also explained to me the breed I have really needs a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. She pointed me to a great dog park in the neighborhood and she's right - he is so much happier after a few hours of playing. Thank you so much Mariah and Bark Busters!
