My puppy is a very animated, mischievous spirit. He just loves everyone & everything and has the energy of a tornado. Needless to say, we were having some issues with training and unable to find the right path forward on our own. After researching different options, I decided that 1:1 in home training would be the best course for him. That's when I found Bonnie & Bark Busters. From the moment Bonnie arrived, he realized this was someone who was clearly in charge and knew what she was doing - unlike his family. Let's face it, it is really the humans who need the training. Since that first day, he has become an even happier pup and, more importantly, calmer. His personality remains a bright beacon, undimmed by the training. Bonnie has helped with a myriad of issues and has made life a lot less stressful for everyone here - mostly our beloved pup. Following her instructions has certainly improved the quality of his life. Bonnie is extremely knowledgeable, professional and patient. Not once have I felt judged by her for my failures. She just gently reminds me that it is a slow process and that with each visit she can see the progress. So grateful for the encouragement and the difference she has already made in our puppy's life. I highly recommend her to anyone who might be struggling with their family member. I promise you will not regret your decision. My only regret is that I had not done it sooner.

I reached out to Bark Busters due to behavioral issues with my dog Wade. After the initial training session, I am confident that Wade will learn his best puppy manners. Bonnie was so great and patient. She explained everything in detail and answered all questions. You can tell she truly cares about her clients and is as invested in correcting Wade's behavior as I am! I would highly recommend!

Bonnie is awesome. She came and spent 3 hours with my golden retriever and he is like a different dog. He’s so obedient and this is after just one session. Can’t wait to see how much further he comes after subsequent training sessions! Thank you, Bonnie!!

Bonnie is incredible! I only wish I had reached out to her sooner. I was hesitant to work with another trainer because I had tried several in the past and found their methods difficult to implement. One of my dogs had been struggling with aggression, and we were becoming increasingly concerned about how to manage the behavior safely and effectively.
After just one session with Bonnie, I was absolutely blown away by the results. She quickly identified the root causes of our challenges and gave us clear, practical guidance that was easy to implement. The change in both dogs was immediate and remarkable.
One of the most impressive improvements is on our walks. After a single session, both dogs are walking calmly on a loose leash instead of pulling and straying. It feels like I have completely different dogs.
Bonnie's approach is knowledgeable, effective, and empowering. She not only helped my dogs but also gave me the confidence and skills I needed to be a better leader for them. I look forward to our continued sessions and building on these spectacular results. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

We had our first in-home session today with Bonnie, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment she arrived, she was professional, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable about dog behavior. She took the time to really understand our dog's personality, routines, and the specific challenges we've been facing. What stood out most was how patient and encouraging she was - not just with our dogs, but with us as owners as well. She explained everything in a way that was easy to follow and gave us practical techniques we could start using immediately. By the end of the visit, we were already seeing small but meaningful improvements. Highly recommend to anyone looking for personalized, effective and compassionate dog training!

Today was my first training session with Bonnie(amazing!!) and I couldn't be more pleased. She thoroughly explained what we would be working on with my 5-year-old golden, as well as the reasoning and science behind it. I saw changes in my dog after only one session working on staying calm and greeting people coming through the front door, recall exercises, leash walking and most importantly, establishing myself as pack leader (a work in progress!!) I can't wait for my next session and to see how my dog progresses. I was very pleased and impressed with Bonnie. She is very knowledgeable and a great trainer for both dog and human.
It was so wonderful to meet you and your family as well- Isla is a very smart girl! Can’t wait to see the progress too!

I’ve had my dog for six years and previously worked with another trainer during that time, learning a great deal—especially about managing a reactive dog and navigating the unfortunate misconceptions that often come with having an American Pit Bull Terrier.
When Miley and I moved in with my parents and their dog, we had the opportunity to work with Bonnie from Bark Busters. Working with Bonnie has been a wonderful experience. She reinforced much of the foundation we had already built while also introducing new techniques and perspectives that have made a real difference.
One of the biggest benefits of working with Bonnie is that her training is done in-home. Being able to observe how our dogs behaved in their own environment—and how they interacted with each other—was incredibly valuable. It also gave us the opportunity to practice real-life scenarios, like preparing for family and friends coming to visit, which made the training practical and immediately applicable.
Miley has a tendency to bark at anything walking or driving by outside, and Bonnie made a few simple but strategic recommendations that led to quick success. We saw improvement almost immediately. She also recently helped me transition to different walking tools, and our walks have noticeably improved as a result.
Beyond her expertise, Bonnie is always available as a resource outside of scheduled sessions. She listens without judgment and provides thoughtful, clear guidance. Her passion for dogs is obvious, and she truly cares about equipping owners with the right tools and knowledge to give their pets the best life possible.
Having worked with multiple trainers over the years, I can confidently and wholeheartedly recommend Bonnie and Bark Busters—especially for anyone navigating reactivity or multi-dog households.
