We have a small cute loving albeit NOISY barker of a Havanese. She would bark at anything uncontrollably. We love to take our two dogs (our second pup is a Brussels Griffon who loves everyone) out in public with us. Our Havanese would be ok until someone else came by or talked and then she’d explode with loud shrill barks. Scaring all of us. I was afraid she was going to literally give someone a heart attack.
Michael with Bark Busters was hired for the job of helping to solve our dilemma. We were a bit unsure after his first visit. But by day 2 after that we became believers as we saw the true transformation of our dogs behavior for the better. And now 2 months later I can tell you this is real. We have taken the information and made it work for our dogs behavior. Everyone is amazed at her transformation. And as a side note I want to stress that no harsh methods were used. The only downside is that they can be considered expensive but we are happy with the outcome!

When we started bark busters our pup was so afraid of strangers and would bark in fear when people came over; since Lydia has given us the training tools and information, we have seen our dog become so much more calm and way less fearful. The techniques that bark busters teaches really do work; we had exhausted all reward based training options and were getting nowhere, but our dog responds so well to Lydia and the methods she has taught us. Lydia is so kind and encouraging and has been so responsive to our needs! She’s come back multiple times for tune-ups with our dog, and has even provided us ongoing support as we prepare our dog for our new baby coming in June. The peace of mind and on going support from Lydia and Bark busters has been more than worth the investment. Our dog is happy and calm and her behavior has and continues to improve every day!

I have a beautiful and very sweet dog that I love dearly who is great with people and most dogs but literally wants to eat small dogs. I called Bark Busters desperate after an incident that ended in my husband getting bit pulling my dog off a small dog. Michael came into our home and spent the time listening to us and observing. He gave us tools to regain the control over our animals and taught us how to read body language in the dogs to be able to get the dog back into a “green” Zone and avoid “red” zone situations. We may never be able to fully trust our dog around other small dogs but we are very aware and using Bark Busters techniques to keep control over our giant breed dogs. I’m so happy and feel this was money well spent. Thank you so much!!!

On day one Michael took the time to listen to all my concerns and carefully explain how to help and I saw an immediate drastic change, especially in my 10mo who was the main concern. I am blown away and so grateful for the help.
We have had a fantastic experience working with Lydia thus far! We were struggling with our new dog's severe separation anxiety. We felt like we couldn't leave the home without at times. The tools we learned from Bark Busters changed EVERYTHING. We now have a dog that can be confident and independent on her own. The fundamenal tools they gave us made such a tremendous difference in allowing us to properly train our dogs. We're so excited to continue working towards new goals with the bark busters team.

If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. Highly recommend Michael to anyone looking for a trainer who truly understands dogs and how to teach owners the right way to work with them.
