Michael did a great job walking us through the process to practice the role-playing to ensure that we could properly train our German Shepherd.
He was patient and very clear and instructions and I think we are in a good place moving forward.
We wish we would have contacted Bark Busters long ago! We are a much happier fur family now! The barking and leash pulling has decreased significantly. Our dogs are more calm and relaxed and generally happier. Highly recommend Michael at Bark Busters!

We have two dogs whom we rescued and, despite weighing only 30 lbs. each, they were running the place. They only responded to commands when there was something in it for them.
We just had our initial 3 hour session with Michael, and already they are calmer, less timid in new situations, and respond almost immediately when they are corrected - by using our voices and/or clapping almost exclusively.
We have tried obedience classes and training methods before with other dogs - and none of them have made this much difference in so little time!
We have a small cute loving albeit NOISY barker of a Havanese. She would bark at anything uncontrollably. We love to take our two dogs (our second pup is a Brussels Griffon who loves everyone) out in public with us. Our Havanese would be ok until someone else came by or talked and then she’d explode with loud shrill barks. Scaring all of us. I was afraid she was going to literally give someone a heart attack.
Michael with Bark Busters was hired for the job of helping to solve our dilemma. We were a bit unsure after his first visit. But by day 2 after that we became believers as we saw the true transformation of our dogs behavior for the better. And now 2 months later I can tell you this is real. We have taken the information and made it work for our dogs behavior. Everyone is amazed at her transformation. And as a side note I want to stress that no harsh methods were used. The only downside is that they can be considered expensive but we are happy with the outcome!

Bark Busters made a huge difference right away with my dog Izzy's behavior. It's only been a couple days since my at home training session with Michael, but Izzy seems like a new dog. She has barely barked since the training and she used to bark at almost every new person or dog she came across. She is also much more respectful of boundaries now and she doesn't pull at the leash during walks anymore. I have a beautiful and very sweet dog that I love dearly who is great with people and most dogs but literally wants to eat small dogs. I called Bark Busters desperate after an incident that ended in my husband getting bit pulling my dog off a small dog. Michael came into our home and spent the time listening to us and observing. He gave us tools to regain the control over our animals and taught us how to read body language in the dogs to be able to get the dog back into a “green” Zone and avoid “red” zone situations. We may never be able to fully trust our dog around other small dogs but we are very aware and using Bark Busters techniques to keep control over our giant breed dogs. I’m so happy and feel this was money well spent. Thank you so much!!!
