I can’t say enough great things about Sharon with Bark Busters. Bar none, she is an elite dog trainer. She completely changed how I understand and communicate with my dogs — and there were immediate and positive results. Even within the first session, I was completely blown away by the progression of my young and undisciplined dogs. Sharon showed genuine love of her craft and implored my dogs to be the best versions of themselves. Sharon is a complete professional who utilizes actual behavioral improvement over other trainers who rely on treats or harsh punishments. Sharon just doesn’t "train your dog," she improves your dogs' behavior while empowering you to be the best dog owner you can be. Sharon provides so many strategies to empower your dog to be the best version of themselves without archaic, unethical methods. Sharon is so savvy in this area that she can proficiently train puppies, adult dogs, and foster dogs with previous trauma. Don't waste your money with amateurs. Sharon at Bark Busters is the elite dog trainer in the greater Tampa / St. Pete / Clearwater area. I am thankful to have Sharon from Bark Busters to improve my two dogs beyond what I've anticipated.
Hi Sharon - it’s Nettie. First I want to thank you sincerely for your time and talent yesterday in helping me with Harlee. Your patience and wisdom was amazing and much appreciated. Even when you think you’re an experienced dog owner you meet a pooch with special needs and you helped us get through to him in a kind and meaningful way to overcome his fears. Also - BTW we made it upstairs and downstairs last evening/ morning and we both had the best night of sleep in months. Thank you again from Harlee and me
We recently had our first training session with Sharon Kondash, and I can't recommend her highly enough!
Our session lasted a little over three hours, during which Sharon immediately put us at ease with her warm and approachable demeanor.
As the owner of an 18-month-old Standard Poodle, we were eager to address some behavioral concerns, particularly regarding socialization with other people and animals. Sharon provided us with invaluable insights into Odin's behavior and gave us practical strategies to implement in various scenarios. Her knowledge and expertise were apparent as she tailored her advice to meet Odin's specific needs.
What impressed us most was Sharon's ability to break down complex concepts into actionable steps. She equipped us with "homework" exercises to work on before our next session, ensuring we had a clear path forward to help Odin grow and thrive.
Overall, Sharon's guidance and support have been instrumental in our journey with Odin.
We look forward to continuing our training with her and seeing the positive changes in Odin.
If you’re looking for an experienced and compassionate dog trainer and behaviorist, look no further than Sharon Kondash and Bark Busters.
Sharon at Bark Busters is absolutely amazing!!! She has taught me so much as a first time dog owner like house breaking, crate training, dealing with separation anxiety, and chewing. She's helped me understand how to communicate with my pup without the need for treats as well. Can't recommend her enough!
Such a positive experience, and marked improvement already noted. I feel as though I’ve known Sharon for years; super-responsive, informative, and incredibly tolerant of my MANY questions. I have a 14 w.o. chiweenie rescue that I’ve had for three weeks, and it’s been decades since I’ve had a dog, let alone a puppy. No hurting/scolding the pets, no spray bottles, yelling, etc. She gives you the resources to work with your furbaby on your own, and call upon her if and when needed. Just need to work on toughing myself up with the crate training of my little girl! Thank you for your continued support! 🐶
Sharon is truly a master at training and has taught me the importance of “speaking dog”. I have a completely new understanding of how to communicate with all of our dogs, but it’s been transformative for our new addition to Stella, who is 1. It will take a lot of practice and consistency, but I saw immediate improvement following Sharon’s visit. The dogs know I’m different. We have three, so my communication is very important. Sharon is kind, compassionate, and very patient. She has also responded to every follow-up question I’ve had and continues to offer support. I am so grateful for my experience with Sharon and love this method of training that is about the trust bond between you and your dog and not about treats or clickers! I am so glad I trusted Sharon to teach me!! I highly recommend Bark Busters Pinellas!!!
Sharon really knows her stuff. I felt so discouraged with my new rescue and she has helped immensely. Training is not done with my pup yet, she has a little ways to go, but I know Sharon will be there to help every step of the way. It is great to be able to reach out and get tips in between in person training sessions.
I have been a client of Sharon's at Bark Busters for a couple years. She is worth every penny! My dog Lacey had severe separation anxiety, fear based aggression, as well as other issues. There is not a single thing that Sharon has taught me to do that has not worked when I practice and do it correctly. She is always available for questions and free follow up training.
Sharon was absolutely the best for our little Sadie. Sadie found us after spending several months in the humane society and another shelter before. It was love at first sight. She was the missing piece for me and my husband.
Once we got home we noticed although Sadie is very smart she had a few manners to learn to help me feel more at home. We reached out to Sharon after a recommendation from our vet tech. We did our initial phone consultation and I immediately knew it was going to be a good fit.
The day of our first training session came and we learned so many new things in terms of how we help our Sadie to understand she does not have to be our packs leader, me and my husband will take care of those things.
We worked on some leash walking and she was really catching on quickly our little Sadie is so smart! After our initial training when we went on a walk that evening she did so well. Remembering some of the new rules that mom and dad will lead the walk.
Training your pet is never cheap or easy. In this case you’re not just training your pet but yourself to allow them to relax. My husband and I are so happy with every penny spent helping our Sadie be able to relax and just follow along. We can’t wait to continue doing our homework and schedule follow up visits as needed. Thank you so much Sharon for helping us set our Sadie up for success.
