Brisket is a 2–3-year-old rescue who was ready for some training after a month of acclimation and recovery in her new home. My research of local trainers brought up lots of qualified folks but Sharon at Bark Busters kept coming up again and again. Several doggie-day-care facilities even handed me her card; turns out Sharon trains a lot of folks (pups too)!
Our 3-hour session was completely different than expected and just what I needed. No treats, just quiet visuals; we didn't even utter the first verbal command until the beginning of hour 3 for that rare situation it might be necessary.
I worked with Brisket for the last two days to see how she was doing with my new training (yes, I got trained) and I just can't believe how well it has gone.

Brisket played with other dogs for the first time off leash and was such a good girl and even recalled perfectly in spite of all the beautiful chaos happening around her. She also has less separation anxiety now that I know what to do.

After just one session with Sharon, our 3 dogs are behaving so much better. They are getting along better with less competition, which is a huge relief! They're no longer attacking the vacuum or biting the kids in the bottom when they play basketball in the game room. Her techniques are easy to implement and the dogs have responded so well. I highly recommend Sharon and Bark Busters Dog Training Pinellas County!

Working with Sharon from Bark Busters was such a great experience! She texted before arriving at our home so we could start strategically by learning how to de-escalate the mayhem that happens when a new person comes into our house. She explained many tactics to my husband and me while demonstrating with the dog. We did not use any treats and Sharon never used any harsh methods. She used dog behavioral strategies. I have always had dogs, but never heard of tuning into the dog's perspective, but once I did, it made so much sense! From day 1, my dog now looks at my face when I go to enter or leave the house, waiting for me to signal before I proceed. We now know how to tell him, effectively, without ever raising our voices, not to jump up on us, and he responds appropriately! Sharon was very professional and friendly and it is obvious that she loves what she does. She followed up with us 2 days after her visit and was extremely helpful in answering some questions that came up since our meeting. We are completely satisfied! We are foster dog parents and will be able to put these lessons into practice with every dog that comes through our home in the future. Many thanks to Sharon and Bark Busters Dog Training Pinellas County.

Sharon is very knowledgeable with training our 1 year old golden. After only two visits we see much improvement in Ellie. She has learned to stop jumping up on us, We can get her to stop reacting to activity and visitors at the front door. She is pulling less and walking so much better! Most importantly, she is getting socialized safely with other dogs which we did not think was possible since we missed her early socialization. Sharon even accompanied us to a Doggy Daycare and set up a meeting there to give her the best odds of passing the entrance test, even working with the staff at the Doggy Daycare to ensure Ellie could relax and behave. Sharon is very helpful with all our questions. We are so happy with Bark Busters .

Sharon at Bark Busters was amazing during our 1st 3-hour session. We learned so much about dog behavior and how to interact with them in ways that make instant sense to dogs. Had nearly immediate small successes which we were able to quickly build on. I've never done training like this before and really appreciate the psychological approach. The life of your dog support guarantee is also amazing!

Sharon is very knowledgeable and her guidance has already made a huge difference in our dogs’ behavior. Not only are they better behaved but they are less anxious. If you want to reduce anxiety in your dogs, I highly recommend Sharon, Bark Busters, in Pinellas County.

I learned so much in our first session about how my dog perceives my behavior and the world in general. Sharon is teaching me to "speak dog", which is absolutely necessary for the dog to gain trust in me as her leader and protector. I left that first meeting with several very effective strategies for solving our issues. The impact was immediate! I highly recommend Sharon and the entire Bark Busters process for really understanding your dog. I wish I had known Sharon years ago! It's reassuring to know that I have a life of my dog service guarantee as well! If you live in Pinellas County or St. Petersburg and have any issues with your dog call Sharon!

Sharon was absolutely amazing with my little Copper! We were struggling with excessive barking and nipping whenever someone left the house or walked by outside. In just one three-hour session, Sharon not only showed me how to properly handle these situations but also helped Copper make incredible progress immediately. What impressed me most was that even after Sharon left, Copper responded to the techniques the very next day and showed a whole new level of respect and manners. He truly feels like a different dog now. Our bond has become even stronger, and our cuddle time is so much more enjoyable with the new level of trust and listening we’ve built together. I’m so grateful for Sharon’s patience, knowledge, and guidance!

My dog had extreme separation anxiety. He would claw at the door and jump for over 30 minutes or more if left alone that long. I wanted to get at the heart of the problem and not use scare tactics for an already terrified dog. Sharon’s training helped him realize I was coming back using gestures and body language. He started calming down right away on our very first training session with Sharon.. I’m now able to leave him without crating him and with no scratching or jumping at the door. The tools really worked. They were not treat based, they are not punishment based. We used dog psychology. It was amazing!
